Area 9: Chinook bag limit 6; release chum June 1 through September 30. Area 6 (east of green point), 6A, 6B, 6D: Release all Chinook and chum salmon June 1 through September 30. Areas 9A, 12, 12A, 12B: Release steelhead. Release all Chinook and chum salmon June 1 through September 30. Dosewallips, Duckabush and Hamma Hamma: Open for salmon October 1 through February 28, release steelhead. Big Quilcene: August 16 through August 31, open for salmon, with a daily limit of 6 coho. September 1 through October 15, open for salmon, no bag limit, all take-home fish from a commercial landing must be recorded as take-home on a commercial ticket. October 16 through November 30, open for salmon, with a daily limit of 6 fish. Release all Chinook and chum through October 30. Release steelhead. All subsistence fishing is limited to the area between Rogers Street and Highway 101. Big Beef Creek: Open December 1 through May 15. Hook and line gear only, bag limit 2. Dungeness: October 16 through March 15, open for salmon and steelhead. Opening will be dependent on river flow and in-season conditions meeting co-manager agreed-to criteria. All other freshwater areas: Hook and line subsistence fishing regulated by provisions in the Tribal Fishing Ordinances. Non-commercial hand held gear fishing by tribal citizens at Usual and Accustomed freshwater fishing grounds and stations is permitted for subsistence and/or sport purposes whenever all citizen sport fisheries are open. Subsistence harvest of salmon and steelhead in commercial fisheries and/or with other gear types are regulated under other PNPTC regulations. Regulations defining more specific subsistence and/or ceremonial salmon and steelhead fishing activity will be issued as necessary. Justification (s) Provide tribal subsistence harvest with regulatory action necessary to assist in the conservation effort of depressed salmon and steelhead populations.
